How it all started...
The journey to our kennel began with several years of experience with dogs from shelter houses, deep discussions about which breed and when to get a puppy, and endless discussions with our children, who dreamed of once having a puppy from the very beginning — since we had always had dogs only as adults.
And so we decided – and completely fell in love
With the arrival of our healthy, beautiful, and kind female Pocahontas, we knew we couldn’t have wished for a better family member. That’s why our kennel Cucaramacara was founded.
The name comes from a Colombian saying and song used when someone chooses something they truly want with all their heart. That’s exactly how we felt.
